This policy explains what personal information Anything Digital collects through anythingdigital.co, why we collect it, and the choices you have. In short: we only collect what you send us through our contact form, we use it to reply to you, and we never sell it.

1. Who we are

Anything Digital (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a web design and development studio with locations in Los Angeles, USA and Windsor, Canada. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at hello@anythingdigital.co.

2. What we collect

Information you give us. When you use the “Book your call” form, we receive:

  • your name and email address;
  • your current website address, if you add it;
  • your budget range, if you choose one;
  • anything you write in the message field.

If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.

Information collected automatically. When you submit the form, we record your IP address, the page you sent it from and the time, to protect the form against spam and abuse. Like almost every website, our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested and time) for security and to keep the site running.

We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not currently use analytics tools that profile visitors.

3. How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry, schedule a call and prepare a website review or quote you asked for.
  • To keep records of enquiries and the projects that follow from them.
  • To protect our website and form from spam, fraud and abuse.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations if you become a client.

We will not add you to a newsletter or marketing list unless you clearly ask us to.

4. Legal bases (EU, UK and similar laws)

If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another region with similar laws, we rely on:

  • steps before a contract — replying to your request for a call, review or quote;
  • legitimate interests — running our business, keeping records and protecting our website from abuse;
  • legal obligations — keeping records we are required to keep by law;
  • consent — where we ask for it, which you can withdraw at any time.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as far as needed:

  • our website hosting provider, which stores the website, form submissions and server logs;
  • our email provider, which delivers and stores our email.

These providers may only use your information to provide their services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, our clients or the public.

6. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that don’t lead to a project: up to 24 months, then deleted.
  • Client records: for the length of the project and as long as tax and accounting laws require afterwards.
  • Spam-protection data: per-IP counters are kept for about one hour.
  • Server logs: kept by our hosting provider according to its own retention schedule.

7. Cookies

Our website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Our hosting provider may set a small functional cookie to tell real visitors apart from automated bots. It does not identify you and is not used for tracking or advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.

If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.

8. International transfers

Our website is hosted in the United States, and we work from the United States, Canada and Europe. Your information may therefore be stored or accessed in countries other than your own. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it;
  • correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
  • delete your information;
  • object to or restrict how we use it;
  • withdraw consent where we rely on it;
  • receive your information in a portable format.

California residents also have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to delete and correct it, and to opt out of its “sale” or “sharing”. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by California law. We will not treat you differently for using any of these rights.

Residents of Canada can access and correct their information and withdraw consent, subject to legal limits.

To use any of these rights, email hello@anythingdigital.co. We will reply within 30 days and may need to confirm your identity first. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

10. Security

Our site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), form submissions are stored in a folder that is not publicly accessible, and access to our email and hosting accounts is protected. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will act promptly if anything goes wrong.

11. Children

Our services are meant for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will make that clear on our website.
